Project resources from Visit 2: UK --> FR
Kewenn, October 2011
This is a collection of photos for generating ideas, for a workshop with our teachers. The collection is available here as a powerpoint, but if you want to use the photos, you should print them (we printed them through photobox.com). All the photos have Creative Commons licenses.
You should place all images on a table. The idea is that each participant selects two images, one to represent what a particular situation is like now, and another one to illustrate how the they would like the situation to be like in the future. Then they present their two photos to the group, and explain their choices. Both the presentations and the previous discussions whilst selecting the images can provide some rich, creative insights.
We used it in the project to guide a discussion about working independently vs collaborating with colleagues , but of course you can change the focus depending on your context.
If you use this technique, we would love to hear from you!
You can preview the images here, and download them from http://www.slideshare.net/Performing_Languages/working-independently-vs-collaboration
