As part of our project we will produce Open Educational Resources. These are resources released under an open licence (often a Creative Commons licence) so that they can be reused and adapted by anyone, translated into other languages and tailored to new learning contexts or national/regional settings. The philosophy that underpins this project and our approach to knowledge sharing and dissemination of the project outputs is 'the simple and powerful idea that the world's knowledge is a public good, and that technology in general and the World Wide Web in particular provide an extraordinary opportunity for everyone to share, use and reuse it' (Smith and Casserly, 2006).
As we work on the project, carry out the mobilities and take part in all the planned activities, we will be producing teaching and learning resources, such as workshop plans, descriptions of drama activities or handouts, photos of the workshops, and video recordings of some of the activities and performances undertaken by the participants. We will also gather the participants’ reflections and evaluations of the workshops and mobilities. All these materials will be released as Open Educational Resources, available for anyone to use beyond the project partners.
